E-scooter company Scoot has a moped now

Rent-a-scooters are nice for short rides around the city, but sometimes you just want to sit and ride something a bit more comfortable. 

Scoot, a pioneer in the electric mobility space that has recently been acquired by competitor Bird, already has a GenZe electric scooter as well as a kick scooter in its fleet. Now, the company has launched a new vehicle called Scoot Moped. 

The moped is, once again, a fully electric vehicle that has a seat and hefty tires, ideally providing a pretty smooth ride. It also boasts hydraulic disc brakes, two side mirrors, an LCD display, and a motor powerful enough, Scoot claims, for steep hill climbs.  Read more...
