Netflix won't stream on some old Roku devices starting in December

You might be surprised to hear that Roku has been selling streaming boxes since 2008, but if you were one of the early adopters, we have some bad news: Netflix will stop working soon on some of those early devices.

As Engadget reports, some Roku users are being alerted that Netflix will no longer work on their device after Dec. 1 this year. The reason given is one of technical limitations, meaning Netflix is making a breaking change to its streaming app for these very old boxes.
