Want these iPhone 11 Pro colors? You might have to wait awhile.

It's iPhone preorder day, and as usual, some models are a little harder to come by than others.

Apple opened up preorders for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max on Friday morning on its website. The phones officially launch and theoretically ship on Sept. 20. But some popular models will require longer waits, potentially into October. 

I looked at the preorder pages for all three phones and, more importantly, every color, storage, and carrier combination I could find. While most of the new iPhones should ship within arm's reach of the Sept. 20 launch date, there were a few with estimated shipping dates of "2-3 weeks," according to the website. That means you wouldn't get your phone until between Oct. 4 and Oct. 11.  Read more...
