Acer's new Predator Thronos Air gaming chair is cheaper but still monstrous
Acer's insane Predator Thronos gaming chair, launched at last year's IFA, has a successor.
Called the Predator Thronos Air and launched ahead of IFA 2019, the new chair is actually a slightly simplified variant of the original, with a manual arm carrying the three screens instead of an electrified one.
While that's slightly less cool, the good news is that the price has gotten significantly lower: The Predator Thronos Air will cost $13,999 in the U.S., compared to the original Thronos' price of $20,000.
The Predator Thronos Air is still pretty impressive, though. It has a chair (d'oh), a modular desk, a foot rest, and a monitor arm that can carry three monitors. It can be adjusted to various angles, and it even has a massage function. And yeah, it glows blue. Read more...
