Well the Q900 is now available for pre-order, and it costs $14,999.99.

The Samsung Q900 will start shipping the week of October 28, so Samsung is (just barely) keeping its promise of making it available in October.

Besides the impressive 7,680x4,320 pixel resolution, the Q900 boasts a 4,000 nit peak brightness, Samsung's Quantum Processor 8K, HDR10+ support, and AI-assisted 8K upscaling — arguably the TV's most important feature, as you'll be watching most of the content on this TV in upscaled mode.  Read more...
