You can now pre-pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Eager to be one of the first to get the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone? Well, now there's a way to make sure you will, despite the fact that the phone hasn't even officially been announced yet. 

Samsung has set up a new page on its website letting you "reserve the next Galaxy," without actually spelling its name or any of its specs. 

The page sports a short teaser video for the upcoming, S pen-equipped phone, scheduled to launch on August 9 at an event in New York City. Yes, we sort of know it'll be the Galaxy Note 9 — the clues are there and Samsung typically launches a new Note device around this time — but it's still weird to see a pre-order page that doesn't specify what you're buying.  Read more...
