Inspired by slug slime, this surgical glue is strong enough to patch up a beating heart

Researchers at Harvard's Wyss Institute were inspired by slug slime to create a very tough hydrogel adhesive that can stick to surfaces which are dynamic and covered in blood. Think of it as a Band-Aid for internal wounds, only this one can be molded into any shape or size and stretched up to 20 times its original length.
