Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 review: Outstanding in every way

My first thought after seeing the Galaxy S9 and S9+ in person wasn't, "Oh, it's the same as the Galaxy S8," but rather relief, "phew, it doesn't have a notch in its screen."

As Android phone makers trip over themselves to copy the iPhone X's most controversial feature, Samsung has wisely eschewed any top-to-bottom redesign for its latest flagship Android phones, and instead focused on fine-tuning all the details.
