The Central Hall at CES 2018 just lost power, and people are cheering

It appears that CES can't handle, well, CES.

The Central Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center lost power Wednesday afternoon, shutting down booths and leaving thousands of exhibitors and press wandering around in darkness.

There is currently a violin playing somewhere in this cavernous hall, and those stranded have taken to random cheering and stomping (really).

The official CES Twitter account has weighed in on the madness. 

There is an isolated power outage at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We are working hard to resolve this and appreciate your patience.
