Roy Moores wife: we aren't anti-semites -- one of our attorneys is a Jew

Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore has been accused of many things -- sexually assaulting girls, racism, sexism, and antisemitism. On that last point, earlier this month Moore said George Soros, who is Jewish, is headed for hell because he doesn't worship the right deity:

He's still going to the same place that people who don't recognize God and morality and accept his salvation are going. And that's not a good place.

But his wife, Kayla, wants you to know that they love Jewish people. They have Jewish friends, so many Jewish friends. Here are her comments at a rally:

Fake news would tell you that we dont care for Jews. I tell you all this because Ive seen it all, so I just want to set the record straight while theyre here. One of our attorneys is a Jew. We have very close friends that are Jewish and rabbis, and we also fellowship with them.

She didn't say whether or not her many, many dear Jewish friends will go to hell because they made the mistake of sticking with Judaism, though.
