A lack of quality sleep is not only bad for your physical and emotional health, it also leads to decreased productivity and some reports show that it's affecting our global economy. The CDC has called out Americans' sleep deprivation as a public health problem and Arianna Huffington has rebuilt her personal brand around her crusade for good sleep.
Still, many factors make it hard for us to fall asleep and/or get the kind of restful sleep that boosts mood and productivity. Devices are a major culprit (we've known for years that blue light = bad sleep) but not all tech is bad for your REM cycle. Read more...
