The iPhone's Waze app is getting a big Spotify update

Drivers will soon be able to blast Spotify directly from Waze on their iPhones. 

This new iOS app integration was announced Monday. It lets users control Spotify directly from  Waze, so they don't have to switch between apps.

"No setup required—and no more annoying, app-switching interruptions while you drive," Waze wrote in a blog post. 

The update makes it impossible for drivers (or at least people who tell the app they're driving) to sort through Spotify playlists while the car is in motion. 

Additionally, Spotify playlists can now be set to autoplay once a Waze navigation has started, so a driver doesn't need to bother browsing music for the road.    Read more...
