Drones carried blood samples over the Arizona desert, and it could change the future of medicine

Researchers from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine used drones to transfer human blood samples, traveling over 160 miles across the Arizona desert.

This is a new distance record for unmanned aircraft transportation of medical samples and it could improve the speed of the diagnoses for remote patients.  Read more...
