GIPHY's latest feature will help you find the hottest GIFs

Sure GIFs are everywhere on the internet, but how popular are your favorite animations really?

Now, thanks to GIPHY's newest feature, you'll be able to see just that.

GIPHY announced in a blog post on Monday that the site is adding a view counter so users can tell just how many times people have watched James Harden throw serious shade (spoiler alert: over 57 million times) and other popular GIFs.

According to the press release, GIPHY users can see view counts for every GIF from an official artist or partner. And regardless of how many times the GIF loops, every time you see a GIF, GIPHY counts it as a view. Read more...
