Apple has finally scheduled the day it will unveil the iPhone 8, says report

Apple has reportedly settled on the date for its highly anticipated fall keynote where we'll finally see the iPhone 8 — Sept. 12 — according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal citing sources who are aware Apple's plans.

The company's annual fall keynote event, which has become one of the biggest days of the year for tech enthusiasts, is typically used to showcase the latest and greatest hardware offerings from Apple. Rumors about the Sept. 12 target date recently began to pick up steam, as the date fits within the company's pattern established over the last few years. 

The event hasn't been confirmed by Apple yet, as the company declined to provide a comment for the original report or Mashable's follow up requests for clarification.  Read more...
