Galaxy S8 owners can now try Google Daydream's VR experience

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners are about to have a much more comfortable virtual reality experience, courtesy of Google.

Google's Daydream VR platform is rolling out for Samsung's devices, giving users another choice for phone-to-face immersion to go along with Samsung's own Gear VR platform. 

Google teased the release earlier this year at its I/O event, promising that Daydream would eventually make its way to more phones ahead of Android O and the new Euphrates version of the VR platform. 

The Google VR twitter handle tweeted out the news, and the S8 and S8+ are now prominently featured on the Daydream web page.  Read more...
