The Dodge Demon is a wheelie-popping, world record-setting hellion of a muscle car

Dodge is ready to take the title of the world's fastest production car — and it's not content to just zoom through the line with the quickest time. 

The automaker's primed to wrestle the top spot away from its competitors with a roar, muscling them out of contention with a brash, bold monster of an automobile: the 2018 Challenger SRT Demon, revealed at the New York International Auto Show.

The 840-horsepower muscle monster is so amped-up to tear away from the starting line that the car literally lifts a Guinness-certified off the ground for the first 2.92 feet, making it the first production car in the world to pop a wheelie at launch.  Read more...
