This Bugatti yacht is basically a Chiron on water. With a jacuzzi. And a fire pit.

If you reduce the notion of a boat to its simplest purpose, it is a vehicle designed to keep you from getting wet. 

Which is why Bugatti's new yacht, which comes with a jacuzzi and a fire pit, makes so little sense — and yet, I bet someone out there will be more than happy to dish out a lot of money for it.

It's not that a jacuzzi on a yacht is a novel idea; in fact, if you bought a superyacht that doesn't have at least one, you were probably ripped off. But the Bugatti Niniette 66, which is 20 meters (66 feet) long, is clearly not big enough for luxuries of that type. The jacuzzi and the fire pit pretty much take up all of the available space on the deck, which is probably why the yacht nominally carries a maximum of three people.  Read more...
