A monumental piece of space exploration history — the Apollo 11 capsule — is soon launching a national tour, giving you a chance to get an up-close view of the spacecraft used in the first lunar landing.

The Columbia capsule, which took Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins on a nearly million-mile journey to the moon and back, is the centerpiece of the upcoming Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission tour of four museums across the country to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing in 2019.  Read more...
