It's not just you, Tumblr is down
Tumblr is down, the result of a large-scale DDoS attack. A Tumblr spokesperson confirmed the nature of the outage to Mashable at 4:22 p.m. Eastern Time, but offered no further details into the outage beyond "we're working on it."

Online status tools reported the site was down a little after 3:15 p.m. Eastern Time. The service said on Twitter that some users were experiencing "latency."
