Vivo V5 with 20-megapixel selfie camera launched in India
Some companies think you want a large display. Some think you want more RAM. Chinese company Vivo is betting on a noticeably powerful selfie camera.
Vivo today launched the Vivo V5 smartphone in India with a staggering 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The company says the phone has been designed for young audience who typically place a high priority on how good their selfies look. But its price tag, Rs 17,980 ($265), might be a little too much.
Other features of the phone aren’t as remarkable. The phone sports a metal unibody design and has a 5.5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, which comes coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
