There probably won't be a new 4-inch iPhone SE in 2017

Sorry guys, but small iPhones just aren't as hot as big iPhones.

Apple is reportedly declining to update the iPhone SE next year, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Apple broke with its tradition this year when it launched the 4-inch iPhone SE in the spring. The iPhone SE is essentially an iPhone 5/5S design with the iPhone 6S's faster A9 processor and M9 motion coprocessor. It also has improved cameras.

But despite its lower price point (starting at $399) and target at emerging markets such as India, slowing iPhone sales may contribute to there being no need to refresh the iPhone SE. Read more...
