This might be the last MacBook Pro with a headphone jack

Apple drove a lot of people bonkers earlier this year when it killed the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. Its just-unveiled MacBook Pros maintain the classic port, but experts at iFixit, an online tech repair site known for its detailed "teardowns" of products, say this could be the last time. 

"Miraculously, the headphone jack survived," the site writes in its report on the laptop, "but given that it's a single modular unit (with two attached microphones) taped to the bottom of the fan, it could easily be dropped in favor of a Lightning or USB-C connector at the next Tribal Council MacBook release."
