The New York Times website is down globally

UPDATE: Oct. 19, 2016, 10:22 a.m. BST The website is back up. It's not clear what caused the outage. 

The New York Times website is down globally. 

An error message on the home page and all  the articles pages reads: "This site can’t be reachedwww.nytimes.com’s server DNS address could not be found."

The official @NYTimes twitter account is still linking to news like nothing has happened. 

All the pages on the website seem to be down, not just the home page.  Read more...
