Samsung will now swap or refund your Note7 at the airport

Samsung really doesn't want any Galaxy Note7 mishaps mid-flight, thank you very much.

Given the growing airline ban on Samsung's explosive smartphone, the company is setting up sites where customers can swap or get a refund for the Note7 in Australian airports. The company has already recalled the device and its replacement in Australia.

Local airlines Virgin Australia and Qantas are among those banning the phone for being a fire risk.

The customer service points will operate in most major airports from 6 a.m., including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth and Gold Coast airports. Read more...
