Your list of parental responsibilities is about to take a weird turn.    

Gone are the simpler days when you could send a kid out into the great wide world after a few basic lessons on right and wrong and birds and bees. The next generation will need some other, more advanced teachings.    

The first people to visit Mars are sitting in school today. That means, sooner rather than later, our family discussions at the dinner table will start including the very real changes that will come with living and working on the Red Planet.
