Faraday Future gets green light to test driverless cars in California, report says

Chinese-backed Tesla rival Faraday Future (or FF, as it likes to be called) has reportedly received the green light from California to test driverless cars in the state.

California granted the Los Angeles-based electric vehicle startup official approval to begin testing autonomous cars on public roadways on June 17th, a Department of Motor Vehicles spokesperson confirmed to Reuters.

FF joins 13 other companies that have been approved by California for autonomous car testing, including Google, Tesla and Cruise Automation — now owned by General Motors. Read more...
