Remember that flying saucer smartphone? Now you can actually buy it.

Around a year ago, we told you about the most uniquely designed smartphone we've seen in ages: The Runcible circular phone from Monohm. On Wednesday, the company announced that this quirky little mobile device is finally available for pre-order

Priced at $399, the Runcible is housed in "reclaimed ocean plastic fished out of the Great Pacific Plastic Island," according to the company's website.

The wood-grain model that Monohm showed off at last year's Mobile World Congress will be offered as a special edition version. It will sell for $499. (This is roughly $100 less than the expected price listed in our first report.) Read more...
