Setting up your Apple TV will no longer be a nightmare with tvOS 2

Apple didn't forget about the Apple TV.

The company announced tvOS 2 is coming to fourth-generation Apple TV media streaming boxes at WWDC 2016. Among other new features, Apple TV will no longer be a huge hassle to set up, thanks to a new single sign-on tool.

There are now over 1,300 video channels and over 6,000 native apps on tvOS.

Sling TV will bring live cable channels to the Apple TV starting today.

Eddie Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services unveiled a new remote app for iOS:

Siri can also do a lot more now, like search YouTube. "Show Steph Curry highlights," Cue demoed on stage. Siri can also search for specific topics within the iTunes store. Read more...
