Fiat Chrysler in talks with Uber over driverless car partnership, report says

After penning a deal with Google, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is reportedly in talks with Uber, too.

FCA is exploring a driverless car partnership with Uber, anonymous sources close to the matter told Bloomberg.

Since no agreements have been reached, and Uber is reportedly discussing partnerships simultaneously with other carmakers, the FCA deal could still crumble.

Either way, it seems FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne isn't done seeking out companies to partner with. Notably, both Ford and GM declined FCA's offers to team up. Not long after, Marchionne expressed interest in assisting Apple Car assembly. Read more...
