Apple is changing the App Store to include subscriptions and search ads

Ahead of WWDC 2016, Apple is changing how the App Store works, introducing new paid-subscription options for apps as well as paid search ads.

First up, Apple says it's committed to improving its app review process. Apple reviews every app that hits the store for all four of its platforms (iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS) to make sure they follow Apple’s guidelines for content, functionality, privacy guidelines and more.

Over the years, developers have often complained about the amount of time it can take for an app to get reviewed and then pushed to the App Store.
