T-Mobile is giving away free stuff, including its own stock

T-Mobile customers are getting a chunk of the company today along with some other goodies as the phone carrier launches its #GetThanked campaign.

#GetThanked was announced Monday by president and CEO John Legere, and while many companies will offer customers prizes, goodies and benefits, you'll be hard-pressed to find another company that gives away its own stock. T-Mobile customers have been sent a certificate with details about how to redeem a single stock of T-Mobile (TMUS), currently valued above $43, through a new T-Mobile app.

The app, T-Mobile Tuesdays, allows T-Mobile customers to access weekly gifts and prizes, including free food, movie tickets, subscriptions, ride-sharing and more. T-Mobile Tuesdays is available to download now for Android and iOS. Read more...
