Dell announces gargantuan 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop because... why?

Dell has officially gone too far. 

At Computex in Taipei, Taiwan, Dell announced a whole bunch of new laptops in various screen sizes, most of which are hardware refreshes. But the biggest "Oh god, why?" device is the 17-inch Inspiron 7000 2-in-1.

It's already ridiculous that companies make 15-inch 2-in-1 laptops (some of which are actually pretty good), but an even bigger convertible with a 17-inch screen? Who is this designed for? Giants? People with monstrously huge hands and which such a device actually would look "normal" and proportional to them? Read more...
