Chrome notifications on Mac are moving to the Notification Center

Google Chrome on OS X is getting rid of its extraneous in-house push notifications in favor of integrating into Apple’s Notification Center, The Next Web noticed on Wednesday.

Chrome notifications will soon appear just like other notifications in OS X. This means that you'll be able to manage Chrome's notification settings in the Notification Center just like every other app instead of needing to navigate through Chrome's settings. When you have your Mac set to “do not disturb,” Chrome notifications will comply and no longer pop up.

The tops shows Chrome's current notifications, the bottom shows Apple's native notifications.
