You remember the joys of searching for enough bars on that little LCD screen to phone home, hoping you didn’t get cut off mid-sentence because you moved three feet to the right.
Even so, it was a quantum leap forward compared to dialing numbers on a rotary phone.
Fast forward 20 years, and mobile phones work nearly everywhere. But nobody calls anybody. To get anything done, you need the internet.
