India's Ola will soon have automatic Wi-Fi on all cabs and autorickshaws

India's Olacabs is now offering its riders an auto-connect Wi-Fi service that will let them automatically connect to Wi-Fi in a cab after a one-time authentication.

The auto-connect Wi-Fi service will initially be available on the premium cab category Ola Prime, but will soon be expanded to budget categories such as Micro, Mini and even autorickshaws.

"We also see this as the beginning of connected cities, with hundreds of thousands of vehicles connecting millions of users on the go," Ola co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Ankit Bhati said. Read more...
