Microsoft's latest HoloLens demo transports us back to the '80s

On Wednesday, Microsoft hailed the official launch of its HoloLens augmented reality device to developers at its Build 2016 conference

But unlike the past HoloLens demos, which were impressive enough to draw applause audience members, today's demo was less awe-inspiring and more like a slice of bad '80s special effects
