Telstra apologises after Australia's long night without Internet

It was a long, lonely night for some Telstra customers across Australia Thursday night.

The largest telecommunications service went down on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. local time. At least 8 million customers and 50% of calls were affected by the downtime that reached into Friday morning. 

The outage caused huge issues for customers across the country, with Internet, phone calls and data affected. Australians took to Twitter to complain about their lack of Internet access, their inability to make phone calls and issues connected to catching Ubers, the train and work. Read more...
