Tesla sends out first invites for Model 3 unveiling

The first invitations for the Tesla Model 3 debut have been delivered.

Tesla co-founder and CEO Elon Musk confirmed in February that the upstart EV automaker would officially unveil its mass-market Model 3 on March 31st. Four weeks ahead of the event, the first invites have been sent out to a select few.

Posted to the Tesla Motors Club forum, the invite was delivered to a raffle winner of the Tesla Model S referral program.

The invite doesn't specify the exact location of the event. Since it lists the nearest airport as LAX, however, chances are good that the debut will take place the Tesla design studio in Hawthorne, California, next to SpaceX Read more...
