Wireless charging is finally coming to the Tesla Model S, thanks to an aftermarket manufacturer

Aside from range anxiety, remembering to plug your car in might be the worst part of EV ownership. Thankfully, that might soon be a concern of the past for the Model S thanks to Plugless, an aftermarket wireless EV charger company.

Plugless is now taking $244 refundable deposits for its wireless Model S charging system, which it plans to produce in Spring 2016. If you put a deposit down now, it locks you into a price of $2,440, which the deposit is applied to at time of full purchase. However, if you don't put down a deposit now, you won't be guaranteed the $2,440 price. A Plugless representative told Mashable the "MSRP will be more than that." Read more...
