Target halts the sale of hoverboards on its website

Target, one of the largest retail chains in the U.S., has decided to "pause" the sale of hoverboards on its website

The action is being taken in the wake of a notice from the U.S. government last week that declared all hoverboards unsafe

"We have paused the sale of hoverboards on Target.com," a Target spokesperson told Mashable

"We take product safety very seriously at Target and are proactively working with our vendors to ensure they are compliant with the new safety standards and hoverboard certification protocol provided by the Consumer Product Safety Commission." Read more...
