After judge's order, tech giants are (mostly) silent on iPhone backdoor

The encryption debate is once again heating up but tech companies are mostly remaining silent

A judge ordered Apple to help the FBI hack into the iPhone of the San Bernardino shooter who killed 14 in December on Tuesday even though the company previously said it was unable to do so. Apple CEO Tim Cook fired back soon after saying he would challenge the ruling as it sets a "dangerous precedent" that could put all iPhone users' data at risk.
