Watch a hero in a pickup truck pull a 50,000 lb. semi out of the snow

Sometimes, overcoming your hurdles just takes a bit of confidence — and perhaps a pickup truck.

A video on Time Warner Cable News' website shows Chris Johnson, a welder from Byron, New York, using his Ford Super Duty truck on Tuesday to pull a tractor trailer big-rig out of the snow in Rochester.

Cars and semi trucks were stranded along the snow-covered freeway — Rochester received 18.3 inches of snow during the storm — and while the video only shows Johnson pulling one semi from the snow, he reportedly pulled several back on to the freeway so snow plows could come through and clear the road.
