Instagram bug on Android lets other users see your direct messages

A spokesperson for Instagram told Mashable that the bug has been fixed.

Instagram’s new feature allowing multiple accounts comes with a caveat for Android users: there’s a bug that shares your personal notifications and direct messages with other users.

If you share access to an account with other Instagram users on Android, you may have noticed that DMs and notifications on your personal, non-shared account are being sent to them as well.

Here's a breakdown: Let's say you and I each have personal Instagram accounts and both have access to a third, shared account. If someone sends me a direct message to my personal account, you might also receive a push notification for that private, direct message even though it isn't sent to you or our shared account.
