Cabbage Patch Kids from your childhood are back — with bizarre LCD eyes
Children of the '80s are about to get a major case of the feels: Cabbage Patch Kids are coming back.
The iconic toy getting a high-tech reboot that meets kids how they play today: It's loaded with tiny sensors, comes with LCD eyes, talks and coos, and works with a corresponding app. A prototype of the doll will be on display at the International Toy Fair held in New York City this weekend, but Mashable got an early look and believe us, it's as bizarre and wonderful as it sounds.
The concept, developed by licensing company Wicked Cool Toys and Israel-based tech provider Seebo, aims to stir up nostalgia in parents who once loved the Cabbage Patch Kids with the hope they'll share the modernized version with their own children.
