This tiny, trilingual robot will greet you at a Tokyo airport

A trilingual robot is helping travelers at Tokyo's Haneda Airport.

The humanoid NAO robot is about two feet tall, comes from France and will provide flight and weather information in Japanese, English and Chinese.

In total, the robot can answer just seven questions.

Japan Airlines is doing a trial with NAO through Feb. 11, and again from Feb. 16-18, according to News on Japan.

NAO robots are in their fifth iteration, with more than 7,000 sold throughout the world, according to the manufacturer.

The little machines have seven senses for "natural interaction," including the ability to move with 25 degrees; feeling in sensors in the head, hands and feet; hearing and speaking; seeing with two high-resolution cameras; connecting to the Internet on either Wi-Fi or ethernet; and thinking, at least as much as being able to reproduce human behavior — but stopping short of AI.
