Whack-a-mole between Netflix and VPN services has begun

The arms race between Netflix and people who want to watch videos only available in other countries has begunLast week, Netflix announced its plans to crack down on users who use proxies or VPNs to access geo-restricted content in other countries.

This week, it looks like the company is starting to implement those measures

Some users of the the unblocking service uFlix said they were unable to access American Netflix content while in Australia. Users saw a message stating "you seem to be using an unblocker or proxy. Please turn off any of these services and try again." Read more...
