Starbucks now lets you save the tunes you hear in stores with Spotify

Music plays a major role in setting the mood at a coffee shopStarbucks, which is never short on Michael Bublé, wants you to immerse yourself in the ambience even more.

On Tuesday, the company announced a new platform in partnership with Spotify that will make it easier to discover and listen to music you hear in-stores. You can access the digital music experience through the Starbucks mobile app (iOS or Android), and it's available at more than 7,500 stores in the U.S.

When you’re in a Starbucks, fire up the app with your location services enabled. You’ll be able to see what song is currently playing. Of course, Siri and Shazam can do that just as easily.
