The Oculus Rift is finally launching, but maybe wait for the awesome Touch controllers

LAS VEGAS — Last summer, I said HTC's Vive VR headset and not the Oculus Rift convinced me VR is the future

After trying out the consumer version of the Oculus Rift and a prototype of the Oculus Touch motion controllers that mimic your hands in the VR world at CES, I'm now not sure which one I like better.

VR, by itself, as an immersive visual experience that lets you look in all directions is amazing. But when you add motion controllers that mimic your hands and fingers so that you can "touch" and interact with objects in the virtual world, VR becomes even more compelling. Read more...
