New Aston Martin concept comes with an 'Internet of the Vehicle' system

LAS VEGAS — Aston Martin is known around the world as one of the coolest, sportiest and most luxurious brands. Although the interiors of its cars are all fitted with exquisite materials, they've never been particularly tech-savvy. Well, that's about to change — at least for one Rapide S.

Aston Martin and Chinese tech giant Letv just unveiled the 'AutoLink Rapide S' concept here at CES. It's been fitted with many new tech tricks. The most obvious, however, are in the dashboard.

In the center console, passengers will find a 13.3-inch HD touchscreen. And over in front of the driver, Letv has replaced the standard instrument panel with a 12.2-inch TFT screen that incorporates electronic instrumentation and gauges.
